On February 25, 2025, the New Zealand Multiculture and Arts Exchange Centre and the New Zealand Culture and Arts Foundation proudly partnered with St John New Zealand to deliver a free First Aid Level 1 community outreach program. This initiative aimed to equip local community leaders with essential life-saving skills and foster a safer, more resilient society.
Twenty dedicated representatives and leaders from local community organizations participated in the comprehensive training session. Under the expert guidance of St John instructors, attendees engaged in hands-on learning, covering critical topics such as CPR, wound management, emergency response protocols, and risk assessment.
We are thrilled to announce that all 20 participants successfully completed the course and earned NZQA-certified First Aid Level 1 qualifications. This achievement not only enhances their ability to respond effectively to emergencies but also strengthens the safety infrastructure of their respective communities.
The New Zealand Multiculture and Arts Exchange Centre and the New Zealand Culture and Arts Foundation extend our heartfelt gratitude to St John New Zealand for their unwavering commitment to public health education and their invaluable contribution to this initiative. We remain dedicated to fostering partnerships that empower communities through knowledge, skills, and cultural unity.
