9th July 2023, NZCAF hosted the MATARIKI Multicultural Festival. There are over 60 VIP guests were invited to attend the event, whom includes the Wang Jun Chao,The Consul Generalothe Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Auckland, Dr Deborah Russel MP, Naisi Chen MP, Mr.Junhao Zhang, Wang Jianwen, the director of China Cultural Centre in Auckland, and etc. The exhibition of traditional paper cutting and carving shows the Māori elements by the Chinese artists. The Chinese and Māori singers and dancers performed the amazing program. The event was successfully held and received so many positive feedbacks from attendances.
